Retro Inn #2 is a warm, sunny classic ‘kiwi’ holiday home with plenty of character. A cosy living area opens onto a small deck with outdoor seating and views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. An internal staircase leads up to the main queen bedroom on a mezzanine floor. Two more bedrooms are on the main floor, along with the bathroom, which includes a shower over the bathtub.

The home is kept cosy with a log burner & heatpump, while the fully equipped kitchen allows you to easily prepare your own meals.  Alternatively wander down to the village centre eateries & shops to enjoy a wonderful selection of food.

Located on a quiet street just a short walk (approx. 10 mins) to the lakefront, the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd and numerous walkways.  The garage underneath is great for storage of ski gear in winter.

Standard nightly rate:

• from $295 for 1-2 guests, depending on season.
• plus $50 per extra guest

2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY – this may increase during peak periods. One night stay requests may be accepted depending on availability, and would incur a surcharge.

Please note, as this is a wooden ‘Lockwood’ house it does creak with changes in the outside temperature.  For larger groups, the adjoining Retro Inn #1 may also be booked, depending on availability.
